@bubach, i do not, not use IRC because of virus, i do not use IRC because I'm a slow typer , I'm alway 20 answer away as i try to keep up :cry: . I just thought crc may like to see that you can make a IRC virus :wink:

IRC virus? Hmmm... I know nothing of viruses... nothing at all. In any case, I think I'm going to boot up my linux box from now on, Windows is making me scared. :shock: lol.

Hmm... I have a friend that got dyslexia and is a real slow typer (and bad speller), but that has never stopped him from using IRC.. :wink:

She is a mere slip of a thing at just 20k arriving on the wings of an email or IRC conversation. She is a macro virus, one of the most common forms of computer viruses. Of course this doesn't point out that you have to manually accept and manually run the file that one of the people in the channel(s) your in try to send to you. Think about it: if you use a web browser you're at more risk since images can do buffer overflows and execute code upon loading. And if you're that paranoid you can always get a client that doesn't support the DCC extensions to the IRC protocol and there is then no risk of viruses.
