Menuet Program emulator
The Russian menuet code (diamond) have done a great job with this emulator for menuet programs http://board.flatassembler.net/topic.php?p=35627#35627 As it users "int 40h" like Dex4u, it would be esay to convert to run Dex4u programs. Any one want to take the job on or i could if enough people want it ??.

I would want it. I'm still not able to do ASM, so I can't help. It would be interesting, I'm assuming it would be a GUI app? Offtopic-ish: ARM ASM would probably help me getting in, but there is no documentation for DS programming in ASM (that I can find). Jas2o

Yes is would run any Dex4u program in window if it a gui or in a textbox if its a cli program. Did you see the arm assembly tuts links, i added to the DS links ?.

Well this emulator certainly excites me as it opens up so many possibilities. However I'm more excited about Dex4u modules and waiting to test the Dex4u hdd drivers and fat16/32 drivers you are about to upload simply because it leads nicely to a multitasking modules :) which leads to Dex4u as a desktop OS (as well as many other things) which leads to a windows emulator which leads to Dex being rich ..... rich I tell ya ;) Seriously though, after solid testing of the Dex4u module interface and finishing the most important modules for a basic OS, maybe heading to the think tank and reviewing of goals and a plan for a path forward would be a good thing. Especially now Ville has dropped Menuet32 support, IMO Dex4u with a quality module interface holds far more opportunity for a desktop OS than Kolibri (at this point in time) ..... no disrespect intended to those who work on Kolibri, it's just a module interface as Dex is developing is a far cleaner way of doing things and opens the door to all sorts of possibilities.

Thank for your vote of confidence MichaelH, in Dex4u. Dex4u being module, can go in any direction we as programmers want it. There as always been plans for a multi-tasking ver of Dex4u, the source code is available to any member who ask for it and will freely be available, when we decide on the right licence. The people who want to carry on with menuet32, i wish them luck and will give them any help i can, but i feel that the creator of menuet, does not want them to suckseed and will put manythings in there way to stop them. If it does not work out, i hope some of them will come and work on Dex4u, so we can make the best ASM OS in the world 8) .
