ok, tried dosbox4image on vmware and dosbox vmware displays some long error message....god i need a screen capture utility (something about something else not being implented and dosbox just freezes when i try a do a directory on c i also tryed mounting a directory with no subdirectorys in it just to see if that was making it crash. no difference i have no idea why the same thing you are doing is not working on my dosbox 0.65 and it works on yours, are u also testing hdd access???? let me know and thanks for trying baz

allright... so i did not see that the hdd does not work in any emulator..... sorry about that baz

Thats right the hdd does not work on any emulators that i have tryed, but i have also never set the emulates up to use hdd.

In qemu to add a hdd: -hda image.img To make sure you boot from the floppy, add: -boot a I haven't tested hdd in QEMU though. But I have used hdds and floppies in QEMU before. Jas2o
