Skrewed up my BIOS!!!!!!!
Hi Dex, i tried out your os on an old laptop that my parents let me use, as long as i didn't completely switch it over or erase everything or any thing of major consequence. So i leave it alone for a while (working on other projects) and i try to boot it back up to windows and the bios was completely messed up and needs to be reset (whitch i cant do beacause my parents wouldn't let me open up the laptop). now im not saying it your fault but its kinda lookin like it so if you could reply and give my help becaused i doub't it was dex os.

thankyou dex for listening to me :) As for information the best i can supply is pictures because its rather hard to discribe. since it is late at night in my hometown, i cant take a picture right now but i will get one asap. Also sorry about not reading the licensing and i am embarrassed that i got mad, because i was worried because i might get in trouble if i don't get it fixed quick enough and my parents find out.

I've had the bios get mad if my battery got pulled or if somehow the date got changed. check those out.

ok, i start it up, and i hear a beep then i see this: i click ok hear another beep and see this: i just click ok without changing the date/time and i see this: then this: and it gets stuck there. oh, and btw, im not in a hurry now because our power flickered on and off for a little bit last night so i can blame it on that:D

My Boss had a very similar problem with his IBM. I also had an older IBM fail on me for the same reason.

yes i hope you get out of this trouble, power surges have been the problem for that, heres why 1. (only one) when a surge happens the RF hits your system and while you dont see it it will and can mess the system up, file system or wipe the entire drive. it would be safer to get a virtual pc. there is a download for 2007 at microsoft.com but yes, the power flickers can be the main cause. hopew this helps for future causes.
